Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Cantinetta del Bacco DOC
Only the finest vintages earn the honour of becoming the Riserva del Bacco. This premium Amarone is robust, full-bodied, and warm, offering an intense bouquet of plum jam and liquorice with a velvety-soft, balanced palate.
Grape Varieties:
Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, other indigenous varieties.
Region / Vineyard:
Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, northwest Verona hills. Vines average 20 years old (some Corvina up to 35 years) grown on thin, stony Neolithic calcareous soils.
Harvest:
Early October, hand-picked when slightly over-ripe. Only the finest bunches selected for raisining.
Vinification & Ageing:
Soft destemming and crushing in February after raisining. Long fermentation with must and pomace. Aged for over 5 years in large oak barrels, with 15% matured in barriques for refined nuances, then bottled and aged a further year.
Tasting Notes:
Intense aromas of plum jam and liquorice. Full-bodied, robust, and warm with a velvety texture and long, persistent finish.
Food Pairing:
Roast lamb, fillet of pork, game dishes, aged hard cheeses. Excellent as a meditative wine at the end of a meal.
Serving Recommendations:
Uncork a few hours before serving or decant to allow oxygenation.
Serving Temperature:
18-20°C.

Delivery includes tracking, a 1-hour time window, and in-flight options via DPD. A secure PIN code and photo ID may be required upon delivery. If the recipient cannot provide either, the parcel will not be delivered.
