Valpolicella DOC “Santambrogio”
This classic Valpolicella is a dry, harmonious red wine with a rich ruby colour. Produced from the finest grapes grown in the Valpolicella hills, it offers freshness and elegance with aromas of red berries and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, making it versatile for a wide range of dishes.
Grape Varieties:
Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, old indigenous grapes, and other recommended varieties.
Region / Vineyard:
Hills northwest of Verona, average vine age of 30 years, on thin, stony Neolithic calcareous soils.
Vinification & Ageing:
After destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks (~20°C) with gentle cap punching to extract colour and aroma without pressing.
Tasting Notes:
Rich ruby red. Aromas of fresh red berries and floral hints. Dry, smooth, and harmonious on the palate with a balanced, elegant finish.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with flavoursome starters like soppressa veneta, egg pasta with beef ragù, grilled or boiled meats, and light game.
Serving Temperature:
16-18°C.

Delivery includes tracking, a 1-hour time window, and in-flight options via DPD. A secure PIN code and photo ID may be required upon delivery. If the recipient cannot provide either, the parcel will not be delivered.
