Cannonau di Sardegna DOC “Saragat”
This premium Cannonau is crafted exclusively from 100% Cannonau grapes grown in Mogoro and surrounding areas. It shows a deep ruby red colour with violet reflections that evolve towards garnet with ageing.

Mogoro and neighbouring zones, Sardinia (OR).
Vinification & Ageing:
Fermentation at controlled temperatures (26-28°C) with skins for 15 days. Short maturation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal character.
Tasting Notes:
Ruby red with violet hues, turning garnet over time. Intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, with floral notes of violet and dried rose, complemented by aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is elegant and velvety, with integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a persistent fruity finish.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with vegetarian lasagna featuring smoked aubergines, spicy feta, grilled courgettes, and red chilli. Also pairs beautifully with grilled veal chops and aged sheep or cow cheeses.
Serving Temperature:
16-18°C.
