Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC “Tenuta Cariola”
This lively and characterful Chiaretto is produced from grapes grown in the morainal hills on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda. It shows a bright ruby pink colour with a fine fruity bouquet and a dry, savoury, and harmonious palate.
Grape Varieties:
Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Negrara, and other recommended varieties.
Region / Vineyard:
Southwest Lake Garda hills, vineyards averaging 25 years old, on fluvio-glacial gravelly-sandy morainal soils.
Vinification & Ageing:
After destemming and crushing, fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled tanks with gentle cap punching to extract colour and aroma without pressing.
Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby pink. Fine fruity bouquet with fresh red berry notes. Dry, savoury, and harmonious on the palate.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with soups, simple meat dishes, white meats cooked in sauce, pizza, or light summer dishes.
Serving Temperature:
16-18°C, or slightly cooler in summer.
