Custoza DOC “Le Rune”
A whisper of elegance and an alchemy of flavours, Le Rune reveals the secret language of its terroir. Crafted from carefully selected grape varieties grown on the southeast side of Lake Garda, it is renowned for its harmony, versatility, and pleasing semi-aromatic and mineral notes.
Grape Varieties:
Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Friulano, Malvasia, Riesling Italico, Cortese (Fernanda), Chardonnay.
Region / Vineyard:
Southeast Lake Garda moraine basin. Vines average 30 years old, grown on calcareous, gravelly-sandy morainal soils ideal for white grapes.
Vinification & Ageing:
After roller crushing, the grapes undergo cold maceration on skins to enhance aroma and varietal expression. The must is heat-controlled fermented at ~16°C, refined in steel tanks until bouquet clarity is achieved, then bottled.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw yellow. Semi-aromatic with delicate floral and mineral notes. Fresh, harmonious, and versatile on the palate with a smooth finish.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with fish and shellfish starters, first courses, or as an elegant accompaniment to light full lunches.
Serving Temperature:
10-12°C.

Delivery: 1–2 working days from dispatch
Delivery includes tracking, a 1-hour time window, and in-flight options via DPD. A secure PIN code and photo ID may be required upon delivery. If the recipient cannot provide either, the parcel will not be delivered.
